Watch the Fireworks

4th of July at Dodger Stadium: Spend the night with baseball and fireworks as the Dodgers take on the Padres.

Hollywood Bowl: Ring in July 4th with Nile Rogers (disco fever, anyone?) Enjoy a concert before the fireworks shoot off! This event will take place July 4th at 7:30 pm!

All-American 4th of July on the Queen Mary:  All aboard the Queen Mary! The evening includes concerts, family-friendly activities, historic tours alongside other patriotic-themed events. This event is $49!

Huntington Beach Fourth of July Celebration:  Double celebrations are happening this year in Huntington Beach! July 3rd is the Bash at 5th & PCH, while on the 4th they are throwing a party with live DJs and games.

Fourth of July Americafest at the Rose Bowl:   Enjoy the classic American food, to a motocross stunt show, to the fireworks display. They will open at 2pm Independence Day, at which time access to inflatable rides, games and crafts will be available. Parking for the event will cost $20. General admission is $15  and $35 for reserved seating.

Pacific Palisades Fourth of July Parade: Watch skydivers, baton twirlers, trombonists and more as they march down Sunset Boulevard. General admission to the parade is free but if you want to splurge on VIP seating, it will cost you $50. The festivities also include fireworks and a concert for $10.

Fourth of July Block Party in Grand Park: This free event features food trucks, live music and more. Pack yourself an all-day picnic and relax! Don’t want to worry about bringing your car? This event is Metro accessible!

Santa Monica 4th of July Parade: This is free and great for the kids! It’s the 13th annual Santa Monica 4th of July parade from 9:30-11:30am!

Grab a Bite to Eat

Restaurants and bars throughout LA are offering food and drink specials for this holiday weekend!

Baldoria (Little Tokyo): They are making an “All American” apple pie pizza to celebrate 4th of July plus they will have tons of happy hour pricing on cocktails, which will happen all day!

mar’sel at Terranea (Palos Verdes): Terranea Resort is a wonderful place to spend 4th of July, and they are having their annual fried chicken and caviar dinner. The meal will feature a family-style dinner with southern fried chicken and Petrossian caviar with Piper-Heidseick Champagne from 5-9:30pm. Reservations can be made by calling 310-265-2836.

Sprinkles Cupcakes: Sprinkles has some 4th of July menu items ready for any celebration. Get their red, white and blue layer cake, or their star topped cupcakes if you want to stand out at the party!
