8 LA Hotels to Truly “Staycay” in Style

Many people don’t think big cities can be relaxing, but Los Angeles is a different story. Booking a staycation in LA, where some of the best beaches and mountains lie, could be an adventurous and cool vacay waiting to happen. There are a bevy of upscale and chic hotels that are within steps of the best restaurants and nightlife here in LA (and the best spas too!). We’ve roamed the city of Angels to find the best staycation spots to book a getaway. Let’s just say we’re calling concierge tomorrow.

1. The Hotel June

Address: 8639 Lincoln Blvd, Los Angeles (West LA)

The Hotel June has two locations here in LA, but the West LA one is definitely the one you’ll want to book a stay. Its cozy rooms offer you luxury from head to toe. You’ll be wrapped in quality linens while you sleep and enjoy the Aesop brand bath amenities too. You’ll love the noise-canceling windows that allow you to live out your vacation in peace and comfort. Dogs are welcome  (only $50/ a night with a percentage going towards the Best Friends Animal Society) and they’re even given special accommodations like treats and bowls. If your dog deals with separation anxiety, this is a great way to get out of the house with them .

2. Fairmont Miramar Hotels & Bungalows
