Sad to say it boo, but summer is so close to being over. I’m not crying, you’re crying…LOL. But here’s the positive to summer’s end (drumroll, please)…FALL FASHION! Yup, fall’s upcoming styles are definitely worth the wait. We’re putting away those Birks and filling our closet with statement sneaks, knits and denim. Trendy items like edgy coats and sparkling metallic pieces will also be in the wardrobe. See what else we’re planning on wearing next season on the streets of LA, here’s our stylish guide to Fall Fashion.
Business Babe
Get ready to look like the ultimate girl boss with a fashion game that’s professionally strong. Vests are coming back this year and we couldn’t be happier. Swap the 90’s sweater vest for a button-up structured look, then throw on a blazer for a chic vibe. A full on pantsuit is just as fierce. Neckties have also made their fabulous return and are ready to tie your whole look together in the most charming way this fall. Details are also important, wear your favorite pair of loafers to complete any outfit. Closing deals or ruling LA’s streets, these trends are all about embracing your inner CEO while never sacrificing style.

Edgy Ensemble
Full grunge is out, a rockstar’s girlfriend is in. Last year we were all about styling a leather blazer, but now it’s all about the oversized leather jacket. “Rockstar chic” also has those cool girl studs and lots of fringy attitude. Try pairing any casual outfit with a slaying studded belt or even leather boots to turn your #OOTD into the perfect edgy look. Whether you’re hitting up La La Land Kind Cafe for a coffee run, or dancing your heart out at Whiskey a Go Go , get ready to rock fall like a true fashion goddess.

Ravishing Red
Red is usually held for Christmas, but it’s coming out in fashion very early this season. Yes babes, the color of passion and power is turning heads like never before. Red not only gives a basic outfit the perfect pop, but a red monochromatic outfit is one of fall’s biggest trends. Trust us, you’ll see it everywhere. From slay-worthy scarlet heels to cozy crimson sweaters this look will command attention in seconds. Focus on accessorizing within this trend as well. Throw on a classic red lip, vibrant sunnies, or even a chic red purse to become the ultimate fashion daredevil.

Metallic Glitz
Babe, it’s time to shine bright like a diamond this fall in metallics. This season, embrace the magic of silver that’ll have you look like a celestial queen. For some time gold ruled the LA fashion scene, but in 2023 silver is a statement. But, there are some flashy colorful looks, statement tops, and vibrant bottoms in the silver color wheel that’ll make everyone’s head turn. On chilly days, add a radiant lightweight sweater to keep you warm from the LA coastal breeze. If you’re more into muted tones, don’t worry about missing out on the fun because you can still participate in this trend with accessories. Put on some shimmering shoes or jewelry to add a touch of glamour . Dancing under the moon and city lights on a night out with these shining pieces will make you a high-fashion real life disco ball.

Knits & Knots
We’re calling it now, macrame will have a BIG comeback this fall and designer Coral Castillo is on the pulse. She became a household name thanks to the 19th season of Project Runway where she designed pieces that combined structure, texture, and flow. But her talent really shines with her macrame designs. She’s very passionate about this style and technique and has featured it in many of her collections including a brand new collab with Cheetos Mac ‘N Cheese. The line features “MAC-Top Sneakers” in orange, green, and red or and”The Fanny MAC“, a stylish macrame belt bag (btw, you can also win one of Coral’s limited designs here).
We chatted with Coral about what else we can expect from fall. “In LA, we use a lot of street fashion and creativity. And since macrame has been trending for the past few years in the fashion world, I think now we have the perfect trending items with the fanny packs, sneakers, and bright colors especially here in LA. I think they’ll go perfect with the style people do here in LA.” We believe it. Of course, we love a good oversized sweater, but there’s so much more to knit & knotted fashion than meets the eye this upcoming season. Rock a knit dress, a skirt or shorts set for a fun night out. Knits are really taking some fashion risks and I think we should too. So get ready to strut your stuff in the coziest but coolest looks next season.
The wardrobe is ready, now show off your new fabulous fall looks during your next night out at these concert venues.
