The LA Girl Team recently went to New York Fashion Week and among the busy week full of events and shows was the Spring 2023 Badgley Mischka Runway Show. Badgley Mischka is an American fashion label designed by Mark Badgley and James Mischka, known for their couture evening-wear, often seen worn by celebrities and fashion icons on the red carpet. Both the show and garments were absolutely stunning – from the venue, to everyone’s looks, to the collection itself.
Our Editor in Chief, Erika De La Cruz definitely understood the assignment and showed up wearing non other than Badgely Mischka! Erika bought this dress a year ago, at the time, not having an occasion to wear it. One year later she found the opportunity she was waiting for: The actual Badgley Mischa show and knew this was THE dress to wear… This stunning and elegant dress (now on sale) was paired with a classic, dainty Christian Louboutin heel, a few gold accents with a bracelet and hairpiece, and a simple black leather Jeenaa bag. a timeless, elegant look, right on brand with the occasion.
Outfit Tip: You don’t need much to accessorize a statement piece, especially one with a giant bow at the center, stick to black accessories. She chose a gold barett & bracelet to complete the look.
The Spring 2023 Badgley Collection was beautiful and colorful. Badgley Mischka is all about timeless glamour, and that is the perfect way to describe this collection. The Collection consisted of a bright and colorful palette, ranging from light pinks, to bright yellows, to deep blues. Spring was definitely present in the collection, with florals, flowing dresses, and an overall effortless chic vibe. Every piece was unique, all with different silhouettes, fabrics and styles. Here is a sneak peak into the collection with a few of our favorite looks.
