Night of Altars
November 2nd
You may have heard of or even celebrated Dia De Los Muertos, but what about Noche de Altares? Night of Altars is a Mexican tradition that honors the memory of the deceased, a viewing of 100 beautiful altars. Also, there will be arts and crafts, food, and live music! The event is free and can be found on Flower Street and Santa Ana Boulevard.
Dapper Day Expo
November 2nd – 3rd
The second annual Dapper Day Expo is happening at the Disneyland Hotel! You can prepare for your Dapper Day at Disneyland by purchasing vintage clothing, jewelry, and more. In addition, there’s even live bands and dance lessons! It’s definitely one of the top 11 fun things to do in LA this November.
Woofstock 90210
November 3rd
Ready to have a paw-fect time? Grab your pup, or even a friend’s pup, or meet one of the adoptable pets at Woofstock 90210! Beverly Hills High School has free parking and a free shuttle over to Roxbury Park for the event. Plus there’s a pet parade, 35 vendors for pets, and of course food trucks!
Los Angeles Coffee Festival
November 8th – 10th
The Los Angeles Coffee Festival for all you coffee lovers, is broken up into 3 hour sessions. The event, taking place at The Reef will offer coffee tastings, coffee cocktails, live music, food and more!
Stunt Dog Experience
November 10th
Ever been interested in seeing the famous dogs of Chris Perondi live? Well you can watch them do their live show at the Stunt Dog Experience at Carpenter Performing Arts Center down in Long Beach from 2:00pm to 6:00pm.
AFI Fest
November 14th – 21st
At this popular film festival in Hollywood you can attend quite the array of films and sometimes even for free! AFI Fest is presented by the American Film Institute and takes over multiple theaters there in Hollywood.
LA Zoo Lights
November 15th – January 5th
Griffith Park and specifically the Los Angeles Zoo are already cute, add beautiful twinkling lights and you’ll be amazed! Along with meeting some real reindeer, visit Santa Claus and enjoy the sparkle of LA Zoo Lights.
Taste of the Rams
November 18th
Taste of the Rams allows you to meet your favorite players and taste some phenomenal food cooked by the top 15 chefs of LA!
Fall in the Farm
November 23rd
Want to see a cow being milked? Well you can do just that along with making crafts, and hear turkey calls at the Fall in the Farm at the Fairplex in Pomona! The event is free and there’s also gardening talks, demonstrations and more.
Surfing Santa
November 23rd
Nothing like a Surfing Santa Competition to get you into the Christmas spirit in November! Competitors dress like Santa and surf the waves of Salt Creek Beach in this quirky but cute event!
The Nutcracker
November 30th – December 29th
If you haven’t seen The Nutcracker ballet, here is your chance! The Los Angeles Ballet is performing this holiday classic that tells the story of The Nutcracker and Mouse King. You get to watch a little girl find her way to the Land of Sweets on Christmas Eve all in the beautiful art of dance.
