June Gloom is gone, and sunny skies are finally here to stay. As LA heats up for another summer, there is only one cocktail we’re reaching for: a refreshing Aperol Spritz. Never had one? Allow us to educate. An Aperol Spritz is made from the Italian aperitif Aperol, Prosecco, seltzer and sometimes garnished with an orange peel or slice. It’s enjoyed mostly on the East Coast but these days its considered a universal summer cocktail. We’re not sure when Aperol Spritzes became the drink of the summer, but we’re glad it did. Aperol’s bitterness combined with sweet Prosecco is a match made in heaven. Here are 5 spots in LA that are home to the best Aperol Spritzes. Saluti!
1. Great White
Locations: West Hollywood, Larchmont Village, & Venice
Great White’s laid-back vibes and tasty drinks put them on our list for the best places to drink an Aperol Spritz in LA. This restaurant truly embodies summer in LA with its fresh beige walls and rattan look. If you’re feeling hungry, Great White’s incredible pizzas pair perfectly with a spritz. It’s the perfect spot for Sunday Brunch with the girls, a happy hour meet up post work, or if you’re in the need to soak up summer vibes with great food and drinks.
2. Eataly Terra
Location: Westfield Century City
Not all of us have the luxury of hopping on a jet to grab a spritz in Italy, but we can enjoy a piece of Europe in Century City at Eataly. Not only does this Italian market carry authentic Italian goods, but it also has a coffee shop, gelateria, and three delicious restaurants for you to enjoy. Terra is Eataly’s rooftop bar and one of our favorite spots to gather our girlfriends for happy hour. Dine al fresco with a gorgeous view of Century City and sip on one of Terra’s delightful Aperol Spritzes.
3. Gigi’s Hollywood

Step back in time into Hollywood’s Golden Era at Gigi’s. Their delightful drinks, Californian take on French food, and glam atmosphere is why it’s one of our go-to’s for an Aperol Spritz. Enjoy your cocktails at their chic bar, or dine under the LA sun on their patio. Either way, you’ll want to snap some pics for IG as you look fab while you’re drinking your spritz.
4. Élephante
Location: 1332 2nd Street, Santa Monica
You’ll feel like you’re on vacation while dining at Élephante in Santa Monica. Here, your Aperol spritz comes with an incredible view of palm trees and the ocean. Does it get any better than that? Stop by for an afternoon drink while you’re on the beach or plan on bringing your date here. Élephante’s sexy vibe and coastal Italian cuisine make it the perfect place to spice things up.
5. The Phoenix
Location: 8480 W. 3rd Street, West Hollywood
We’re obsessed with The Phoenix’s party like vibe and its Aperol Spritzes. Here there is an option to keep things traditional, or shake up your spritz with Campari or Chinola in place of Aperol. Don’t forget to enjoy an app (or two), or sweeten the mood with their freshly baked cookies. Spend your summer nights here and listen to some live music with an Aperol Spritz in hand.
