5 Ways to Spend a Day in WeHo: Here’s What To Do In West Hollywood

West Hollywood is one of LA’s trendiest neighborhoods. It’s bustling streets are filled with delicious restaurants, lively clubs, and chic shops. Yes, it’s true – there are endless ways to spend an entire day in WeHo based on what you want to see and what you want to do. Whether you’re in the mood for a leisurely brunch, an afternoon of shopping, or a night of bar-hopping,  the neighborhood is a dynamic destination with a little bit of everything. But we’ve managed to narrow it down to our favorite places to hit up so you can feel like a West Hollywood local. Here is a full guide on what to do in West Hollywood.

1. Visit Reality TV’s Best Spots.

Many iconic reality TV moments happened in West Hollywood. 100% true! On Robertson and Santa Monica Blvd., you’ll find SUR and TomTom where many dramatic moments took place on Bravo’s Vanderpump Rules ( you might even see a familiar face or two while you’re there). Chow down on SUR’s famous goat cheese balls. Have a drink or meal in the place where some of the craziest reality TV moments went down. Snap a pic in front of the infamous Schwartz and Sandoval kissing pic at TomTom. Speaking of Scandavol…Ariana and Katie’s highly anticipated sandwich shop, Something About Her, will be opening n WeHo just in time for the summer. If you’re a fan of Vanderpump, these are just a few things you can do in West Hollywood.

2. Lounge at a Rooftop Pool

Another epic thing you can do in West Hollywood is visit one of the city’s most famous rooftop p0ols. Now that the weather is warming up in LA, staying cool is a must. Splash around in style with your favorite girlfriends at one of WeHo’s fabulous resort pools. Not a hotel guest? No problem. Several of the city’s luxurious hotels are on Resort Pass, which allows users to purchase a one day pass to use the pool. We love a wallet-friendly staycation in style!

3. Stroll the Sunset Strip

West Hollywood is home to one of the most beautiful parts of the city – the famous Sunset Strip. You can spend hours strolling the strip, checking out its many stores, or having a bite to eat at one of the restaurants or bars. We recommend browsing the endless shelves in Book Soup, getting a blowout at Drybar, and grabbing a bite at The Butcher, The Baker, The Cappucino Maker. Or, you can just take in the beautiful sights. Netflix always has some fun billboards along the strip that make for great photos. Driving down the Sunset Strip – a leisurely drive – is a simple thing to do in West Hollywood.

4.  See a Comedy Show

If you’re trying to figure out what to do in West Hollywood for the night, you must check out a comedy show at the world renowned  Comedy Store, Hollywood Improv, or Laugh Factory. These comedy clubs have a killer lineup with famous comedians like David Spade, Pauly Shore, Iliza Shlesinger, Craig Robinson, and more that will keep you laughing for hours. Many big name comedians got their start here, so who knows you may just witness a star being born!

5. Drag Queen Brunch, Bingo, or Karaoke

You can’t take a trip to West Hollywood without embracing the city’s LGBTQIA+ culture. Drag Queen events at Hamburger Mary’s are the most fun way to do so! The restaurant is home to famous Drag Queen shows, brunches (with bottomless mimosas), bingo, karaoke, and more. Events fill up pretty quickly, so be sure to reserve online to ensure you get in. We recommend bringing out of towners here to make amazing memories that’ll last a lifetime.
