We received our invitation & headed out to Revolve Festival, hosted in La Quinta, California, and brought to the desert by Venmo this weekend. Our Editor in Chief Erika De La Cruz attended the soiree. “What you don’t see on instagram highlight reels is time between shuttles, waiting to get phone service, becoming hangry and all of that. I’m a firm believer of NO MORE FOMO. Meaning, I celebrate when I’m at home in my PJ’s, knowing someone out there at a ‘cool event’ would trade me places because of logistics or just plain and simply, missing being a homebody. “ – De La Cruz. While we didn’t experience the breakdown in transportation because we were super nerds and arrived right on time, Erika instead, made the entire weekend & all the stops along the way, a spring time fashion show.
We can all admit, we’ve been on Revolve clothing buying sprees, whether for a festival or just for the summer, their clothes & accessories help us through vacay-planning mode. We styled outfits by: LPA, MAJORELLE & HOUSE OF HARLOW, TULAROSSA for the weekend. Spotify was at the festival too and did more than play top hit tunes. Their booth caffeinated the crowds with whipped Iced Coffee drinks, serving alternative milk options like oat and almond milk, plus strawberry and banana milk, too… an LA Girl essential.
Shown here is the MAJORELLE Valentina Crop Top and Valentina Shorts, paired together for a go-to festival set. Hawkers Co gifted sunglasses to attendees, and sunnies were well needed as the sun was bright and the weather was at a high of 94 degrees. As everyone walked around and got hungry, Samotos Sushi was ready to serve attendees delicious, signature rolls. Last but not least, who else but Post Malone came out for a surprise performance, announced Friday, that had the guests wildly excited and ready to move.
