I was lucky enough to get invited to this amazing event by Stella Artois “#HostBeautifully” with John Legend. It took place at the beautiful Golden Oak Ranch in Santa Clarita. My evening started with a car service that picked me up for the night’s festivities. The drive from West LA to Santa Clarita took about an hour and a John Legend song even played in the car, one of my favorites, “Ordinary People.”
When I arrived at the ranch, there was a beautiful stage and table setup featuring white flowers and rustic centerpieces. There were lanterns strung up high and the hot air balloons could be seen just behind the stage.
I started with some Stella Artois Cidre, their champagne type drink and some appetizers. There were chic sofas all around and the setting was quite romantic and comforting. The dinner was curated by Aliya LeeKong. John Legend delighted us all with an acoustic performance of some of his top songs including some of my favorites, “Tonight” and “All of Me.” After dinner, guests were able to take a short ride on the hot air balloons.
