Bravo Revolve. The iconic festival returned to the desert on weekend one of Coachella and gave us all the feels in every lifestyle department: fashion, beauty, food, drink, adventure and celebrities. The next-gen brand teamed up with The h.wood Group to put on a fabulous desert party full of immersive, artsy installations and performances . This year, the event took place on a private estate, with parking right outside the venue (shuttle-free) and ushered in a vibe that was relaxed and “chill” versus chaotic, with key attendees and a smooth flow of foot traffic that allowed guests to really enjoy the little things, like beer pong and even ping pong! Check out what caught our fancy (the shrooms were a highlight) at the Revolve Festival.
Where to begin? Well…let’s just say walking onto the private estate we were thrilled to see so much color (like everywhere). Bright pinks, reds, oranges and yellows took over the grassy knoll in the form of poppy artwork, mushroom statues and balloons, and even a sunken UFO ship. Let’s just say we couldn’t stop taking photos. Oh yeah the ops were endless.
As we walked through the property, we noticed an A-list of names walking among us. Oh yes, a bevy of celebs and it-girls in their best festival gear were front and center or keeping private inside the house on the hill. A simply dressed Kendall Jenner came to support her tequila brand, 818, which is the exclusive tequila partner to Revolve Festival. Emma Roberts was chic in a black skirted two piece, and the D’Amelio sisters showed up in the ultimate cool girl wear.
One of our first stops on “tour de Revolve”, was The LA Girl’s favorite – La La Land Kind Cafe. We picked up some yummy iced goodies and started making our way to visit all of the branded activations (and there were a lot).
We swung by Supergoop’s station to lather on some sunscreen, a brand we LA Girl’s swear by (and a Coachella must have). Then we headed over to Quay sunglasses to pick up some on-trend sunnies. They truly have the best cat eye sunglasses. Then we took a swing on the super cute Onda Tequila Seltzer swing. One of the coolest activations (and one we have never seen) involved GROCERY SHOPPING. Yes you heard right. Erewhon set out an entire outdoor shop for guests to load up on healthy goods in between festival stops. But of course we had to go bigger…
Yup the little girl and guy in all of us couldn’t resist a ride on the massive swings Revolve Festival is known for. What a way to see the festival from way up high. If you’re invited to any kind of Revolve fest, riding one of their rides is a must.
We then cooled off by visiting the Wanderlust Creamery truck. They teamed up with the travel brand Beis, Shay Mitchell’s company, to offer guests a colorful assortment of sherbert, yum! Our Editor-in-Chief, Erika De La Cruz, couldn’t help but compliment Shay on her success and, of course, her fashion.
Believe us when we say… 4 hours just weren’t enough for our team. There was plenty to do, so much to see, and a lot of people to mingle and meet up with. People were making new friends and getting together for games of corn hole on the grassy knoll by the pool or ready for a rally of ping-pong. Some even took things up a notch and went over to the beer pong tables to play a few rounds. Honestly, Revolve Festival is the place to pregame before the music in the desert. It was a super cool and fashionable afternoon spent. Thanks Revolve for having us! And if you’re looking for some fashion inspo, check out Erika’s style guide. It’ll get you ready for weekend two!
