Pride Events Around Los Angeles 2024

Get ready to celebrate love, unity, and togetherness within and around the LGBTQ+ community because LA Pride is here! Los Angeles is known to be a melting pot of cultures and people, and this month just proves it further. This month it’s all about celebrating LOVE no matter what. Whether you’re partying in the street, going to a show, or attending the LA Pride Parade, it’s a fun filled month with lots of rainbows, lots of joy and celebration! So, without further ado, check out some of the best Pride events happening all around Los Angeles. 

Pride Bingo

When: June 13th

The Grove is hosting an incredible night of celebration with Legendary Bingo Boy! Join in on the festivities and you might even win some luxury prizes from a few of your favorite brands. Enjoy sips and bites from the iconic vendors at The Grove with live music starting at 6 pm. Bingo starts at 7:30 pm. Don’t forget to come in your colorful best and grab those IG pics at the photo op stations. Tickets are $55 per person, but you can get your Bingo ticket reimbursed if you own an Afterpay account. Simply show the Afterpay app on your phone at check-in.

LGBTQ+ Night at Dodger Stadium

When: June 14th

Location: 1000 Vin Scully Ave, Los Angeles, CA 90012

Celebrate Pride Night at Dodgers Stadium with a Pride Party in the Center Field Plaza beginning at 5:00 PM before the game. The party will feature a DJ, and drink specials for 21-and-over.The game will also include a 50/50 raffle to benefit another respected LA nonprofit. Past Pride Night raffles have raised over $65,000 for nonprofits like the LA LGBT Center. And get this,  fans who purchase the special Pride ticket pack at dodgers.com/LAPride will receive an exclusive Dodger LGBTQ+ jersey upon entering stadium gates.

PRIDE at Shake Shack

When: Through June 30th

Location: All Los Angeles Shake Shacks

LA’s favorite burger joint is stepping things up sweetly for Pride month.Throughout the month of June, Shake Shack is offering its guests the opportunity to add sprinkles to ANY shake or custard for 50 cents in support of PFLAG NationalPFLAG is the nation’s first and largest organization dedicated to supporting, educating, and advocating for LGBTQ+ people through  a variety of educational resources and programs. Sprinkles can be added to existing shakes or Shake Shack’s limited-edition summer shakes: Strawberry Frosted Donut, Chocolate Salted Caramel (our fave!), & Peaches and Cream. 

Cocktail for a Cause

We found the perfect way to pregame the festivities all month long. In celebration of PRIDE, TV host and entertaining expert Paul Zahn has crafted a special cocktail exclusively for Kimpton Everly Hollywood, with a portion of proceeds going to charity. The refreshing “Watermelon Mint Cosmo” features Absolut Citron Vodka, fresh watermelon juice, orange liqueur, cranberry juice, and a mint garnish. This yummy cocktail is available to purchase at the hotel’s Ever Bar for the entire month of June, with a purchase of every cocktail to go to glaad. Cheers!

Pride is Universal 2024

When: June 15th

Location:  Universal Studios Hollywood, 100 Universal City Plaza,  Universal City, CA 91608

LA Pride’s epic after-hours party is back at Universal Studios Hollywood! Purchase a special ticket called the Pride is Universal ticket – to enter  Universal Studios Hollywood when the park closes to the public at 10pm and  stay until 2am for the Pride-only after-hours experience where the park comes alive with multiple DJ’s, dance areas, cash bars, 14 Universal characters and enhanced lighting throughout the park!  Plus the retail stores, select restaurants, rides and attractions will REMAIN OPEN just for the event (and with shorter lines)! This event has sold out in the past so get your tickets now!

SaMo Pride

When: June 1st – June 30

Location: Downtown Santa Monica

For the whole month of June, hop over to Santa Monica Blvd for interactive activities and experiences that celebrate the legacy and culture of the LGBTQ+ community. One of our favorite events is Pride on the Promenade block party on June 22 from 2-8pm. With plenty of musical performances, giveaways, games for everyone to enjoy, this Pride event will be one to remember. Stick around that day for the Sounds of Santa Monica: Pride Edition event. Enjoy live music by LGBTQ+ performers under a colorful overhead Lanterns of Love installation. The SMP Kid Zone will offer kid-friendly, educational Pride programming for children to play and learn about inclusivity and acceptance. Santa Monica Pier will host Fierce Fables: Drag Queen Pride Family-Edition on June 15 from 10 a.m.-1 p.m. in partnership with The Crow Comedy Club, featuring a drag queen and king storytelling corner, face painting and dance numbers by Pickle Drag QueenPandora Boxx and Johnny Gentleman.  More events include Rainbow Family Storytime at the Santa Monica Public Library on June 11, Family Pride Drag Storytime with Pickle on June 14,  and a sunset swim at the Annenberg Community Beach House on June 21.

Pride at The Hollywood Roosevelt

When: June 1, 2024 – June 30, 2024

Location: The Hollywood Roosevelt, 7000 Hollywood Blvd Los Angeles, California 90028

Gay Men’s Chorus of Los Angeles: Pride Concert

When: June 22nd

TheGay Men’s Chorus of Los Angeles is back with another concert in honor of Pride Month. They’ll be hosting a Pride Concert at  the Fairmont Century Plaza again where you’ll experience the beautiful harmonies with a diverse range of songs celebrating diversity and love within the LGBTQ+ community. WeHo Pride

When: May 31st – June 2

Location: West Hollywood’s Rainbow District along historic Route 66 

The city of West Hollywood is hosting  Pride Weekend all over the Rainbow District including a free weekend Street Fair, the ticketed OUTLOUD at WeHo Pride music festival and Friday Night at OUTLOUD, the annual Dyke March and Women’s Freedom Festival, the annual WeHo Pride Parade, and much more!  We’re looking forward to Friday Night OUTLOUD which takes place on May 31 at 6pm. Your favorite artists like Ke$ha, Adam Lambert, and Monét X Change will be performing all night. There are so many events happening this weekend, its hard to keep up but luckily WeHo Pride has a great list of all their events here. And if you need a lil refresher after the parade – hit up  La Bohème! You can even watch the parade from La Bohème’s street-side while still enjoying their vibrant atmosphere and refreshing cocktails. Plus, enjoy all-day Bottomless Aperol Spritzes and Mimosas alongside our their brunch/dinner service.

Grammy Museum Spotlight: Chrissy Chlapecka

When: June 5th

In celebration of LGBTQIA+ Pride month, pop sensation Chrissy Chlapecka will be at the Grammy Museum for a conversation about her creative process with her debut EP, Girlie Pop, with a performance to follow. The response was immediate and fervent, earning her immediate accolades from Rolling Stone’s Brightest Pop Stars to Watch, The New York Times, Billboard, Vogue, PAPER, Nylon, The Chicago Tribune, and beyond. LA Pride in the Park

When: June 8th

Location: LA State Historic Park, 1245 N Spring St, Los Angeles, CA 90012

Two stages, activities, plenty of food and of course: PRIDE! This year’s LA Pride in the Park is taking place at Los Angeles Historic Park on Saturday with global icon Ricky Martin headlining. That’s right, the King of Latin Pop will be taking the stage at his first-ever headliner pride performance at the best Pride Party in LA. And just announced.. MUNA, Dominican rap star, Tokischa, JoJo Siwa, plus the cast of the acclaimed HBO hit, “We’re Here” are also scheduled to perform. Here’s what we love about this event. There will be over 20 acres of activities, glow-ups, giveaways, exhibitors, and vendors. Something new this year is their Trans Lounge which is a fun and relaxing space for transgender and nonbinary people – as well as aspiring allies – to rest and unwind. Plus, this year, the iconic LA Pride celebration will witness a remarkable show of solidarity as some of Los Angeles’ most esteemed professional sports teams come together to champion the LGBTQ+ community. The LA Dodgers, LA Lakers, LA Rams, Angel City Football Club, and the Los Angeles Football Club are uniting to support and celebrate diversity at LA Pride. 

LA Pride Parade & Block Party

When: June 9th, 11am

Location: Corner of Sunset & Highland Ave (Parade start)

This year’s 54th annual LA Pride Parade the largest and longest-running Pride Parade in Southern California – is even bigger than last year! If you can only make it to one event for LA Pride, this is THE one to pick!  Grand Marshals include Actor and activist George Takei as the Icon Grand Marshal,  professional wrestler Cassandro, El Exótico and Los Angeles Fire Department Chief, Kristin Crowley, as the Community Grand Marshal, the first woman, and first out person to ever hold the LAFD’s highest position. Don’t forget to arrive early to ensure a good viewing spot along Hollywood Boulevard. There will be over 148,000 thousand Angelenos watching the parade filled with floats, dancers, and luminaries. The route will run north on Highland Blvd, then head east on Hollywood Blvd, and south on Cahuenga Blvd. After that, head on over to the LA Pride Block Party! It’s a FREE street fair at the end of the rainbow, a.k.a., next to the Parade. They’ll have food, drinks and beer gardens, entertaining activities, live performances, and more! The entire street will be transformed into a vibrant block party with outdoor bars, pride decorations, and entertainment, from drag queens to DJs to perform their fabulous shows throughout the afternoon and into evening. Venice Pride Block Party

When: May 31st

Location: 99 Windward Ave, Venice, CA

LA’s beloved grassroots LGBTQ+ Pride celebration returns with a *FREE* party in the street! Be who you are at the Venice Pride Block Party presented by Aids Healthcare Foundation from 5 PM to 11 PM on May 31st at the Venice sign. They’ll have a Queer market with vendors like BabyGay, More Than Metaphysical and more plus they will feature DJ Victor Rodriguez, community booths, and food trucks, queer market. Kick off Pride at the beach, it’s open to the public—and ALL ages!  Then at 10pm – for the 21+ crowd – everyone’s favorite westside queer dance party, Gaywatch presented by Los Angeles County Supervisor Lindsey P. Horvath will follow  at Baja Cantina from 10 PM to 2 AM.  Get tix here!

Founded by a first-gen immigrant, lesbian, and lover of all things coffee, Gefen Skolnick. A delicious brand that is not only exclusive to the LGBTQ+ community but to all potential and current coffee lovers.
