This book will help understand manifestation on a deeper level. When we manifest things, we are declaring something out for the universe to hear to bring it back to us. But there has to be an active shift in your mind set in order to get manifesting . You Are The Placebo helps understand how we can use the power of our mind over our physical body to help create change. If the mind can do this to the body, then the mind is that powerful to bring us something we truly want. 

Everyone has goals. They can be big 10 year goals or maybe simple goals for the day. The Big Leapis a book Erika reads on repeat. It’s a book that talks about goal setting and achieving them in an individual way. The author – Gay Hendricks – teaches certain techniques on how one can release those internal fears and gain the freedom to conquer any boundaries in front of those goals. The skills you learn here are life changing, which is why its Erika go-to for focusing on her goals.

3. What I Know For Sure

Who doesn’t love words of wisdom from Oprah? What I Know for Sureis one Erika’s favorites and one of the best personal development books for women. Oprah has always been that person to champion for the life you want and in this book you will get nuggets of inspiration and revelations that will push you to grab on to the life you’ve dreamed of. The book is beautiful and chic and offers a beautiful guide to becoming your best self. It will for sure give you that “aha moment.”

Business is also one of the many passions for Erika. She loves understanding the ins and outs of a thriving company and learning ways to improve her own business of running a media company.  The One Thing is a great tool on business. It teaches how to balance both life and work to achieve results in both areas.  It provides powerful strategies on how to focus on one thing at a time to live a more rewarding life. 5. Battleaxe: The Axis Trilogy

 Sometimes a fun fiction book to escape reality is the best medicine. As much as Erika loves learning from her monthly reads, she also loves to have fun with a little bit of fantasy. The Axis Trilogy, starting with the first book, Battleaxe, is a series from Australian author Sara Douglass. Erika was introduced to the series by her hubby (also an Aussie) and has devoured each book in the trilogy. It’s a fantasy novel about a land divided between two tribes with a hero who is on a journey of self discovery and is willing to try and unify the land. Yup there’s monsters in here too. Basically, if you’re a Lord of the Rings fan, you’ll enjoy this series.
