Shopping

We’ve said it so many times…fashion is our favorite! So get ready to unleash your inner stylist because Melrose Place is a paradise for trendy shoppers. Walk into LoveShackFancy or Isabel Marant to fill your flirty casual vibes. At Gucci and Bottega Veneta you’ll find the “it” bags that have been featured all over the pages of Vogue. Golden Goose sneakers are an LA staple, and it would be pretty cool to buy your first pair at their boutique on Melrose Place.  But don’t you dare forget about The Row (Ashley and and Mary-Kate Olsen’s fashion line). The iconic brand is known for pulling in so many celebrity fans for its modern and tailored statement pieces. So don’t be surprised to see supermodels like Kendall Jenner or Gigi Hadid ( major fans of the brand) walking in to pick up a new outfit. And just a warning to every fashionista, time WILL get lost on Melrose Place.

Beauty

Getting pampered at one of the luxe boutiques on Melrose Place is an experience in itself. No matter where you go you’ll instantly feel beautiful and chic. Icon Kate Somerville’s Skin Health Experts Clinic is here. You can pick up the brand’s amazing products or book a spa sesh with Kate herself.  If you need a new makeup routine, you’ll want to walk into VIOLET GREY. They’ve got every next in beauty  product that will make you feel like a beauty trendsetter. French skincare brand Biologique Recherche has also set up their new West Coast Ambassade right here on Melrose Place. Walking into the cozy, elegant Maison you’ll feel as if you were transported to the heart of Paris. Here at the two story Maison you can get a personal skin diagnostic and receive ultra personalized treatments for your face, body and scalp. We suggest picking up their P50 Lotion. It’s an exfoliating game changer! You can also book a variety of skin and body treatments in one of their upscale suites. They’ve even got a paparazzi free back door entrance for stars like Brad Pitt and Sharon Stone (they’re big fans of the brand) who visit on a regular basis.

Restaurants

From casual coffee shops to sit down dining, Melrose Place offers all types of options. To kick off your day, start by picking up a world famous vanilla latte at Alfred Coffee. Then run over to Kreation for a super sexy celery juice for later. If you need a little more sustenance to get through a full shopping day, Croft Alley is a great LA brunch hotspot. They’ve got all the LA cool things to eat like Avocado Toast, Kale Salads, and a Prosciutto Grilled Cheese. Feeling fancy after you picked up every luxe goodie there was on Melrose Place?  Hit up MELROSEPLACE LA. It’s a three story “tropicale” that also has a rooftop lounge and yummy classics on the menu. The famous Catch Steak is also here ( no need to explain), along with Caviar Kaspia LA. A fashionable, California cool restaurant that is overflowing with caviar dishes that are served on ornate plates and turquoise linens. Very Art deco!

Things To Do

One of the coolest places to do something…or actually get something done…is STUDS. It’s the go-to for ear piercings and finding one-of-a-kind huggies for your stacked ear party. If you’re hanging around on a Sunday on Melrose Place, you’ll notice lots of tents in the alley way. It’s because every Sunday from 10am-2pm, the chicest of Farmers Markets happens here. Rain or shine the Melrose Place Farmers Market offers handpicked organic veggies, fruits, fresh flowers and the occasional baked good that’s a meal in itself.

After spending a Sunday on Melrose Place, walk over to Melrose Trading Post. It’s the ultimate flea market that happens only on a Sunday in LA. Get the information here.
