Ok so this is one way to fashionably celebrate Women’s History month. So, our editor-in-chief, Erika De La Cruz, was on deck at the MCM Worldwide flagship store in Beverly Hills to toast the last days of Women’s History Month with one of the coolest, chicest women in LA: Chris Han. If you don’t know Chris Han, start following her right now on IG because you’ll be inspired…style wise of course. Yup, this Shanghainese mama of one has tailor made her instagram and other social channels to be a living, breathing runway and 2.6 million followers are looking and liking. Erika chose a pair of wide legged jeans, a simple button down and a MCM crossbody in order to layer up the newest collection of accessories from MCM Rodeo Drive.
WHO:
This was a family affair. Erika brought along her family as guests while Chris gathered kin of her own, along with her adorable daughter dressed head to toe in MCM. Friends, influencers, designers, photographers and more shopped at the MCM Worldwide store on Rodeo on a Saturday afternoon. MCM Worldwide is the luxury German brand known for its cognac coated canvas goods all carrying the MCM logo. Their reversible totes truly stand the test of time.
WHAT:
Guests were treated to bubbly via personalized mimosa cart and enjoyed homemade crepes. The servers and the trays alike were all fashioned in MCM canvas. Erika shopped Chris’s curated styles from the iconic leather goods brand. There were monogrammed denim bags to choose from, along with sunnies and satchels all covered in the iconic MCM logo. The denim bucket hat was calling Erika’s name…so cute.
WHY:
The store was buzzing with attendees choosing their next MCM design to take home. But the best part at checkout was knowing that a portion of each purchase (actually 20%) was going to the Downtown Women’s Center in LA in support of their mission statement: to end homelessness for women in greater LA through housing, wellness, employment & advocacy (ok yeah, we’ll take two of everything please).
