All About LA Guide to LA New to LA Travel

The Best Hostels in LA With Supreme Amenities

A natural go-to is to book a hotel when traveling, but others do exist babes. Staying at a hostel practically ensures you spend more time out and about in the city rather than in your place of rest. Plus, a hostel is cost-effective and a networking adventure. You can meet so many fun people in a hostel. But, it is a little less private than your standard hotel. Trust us, no scary vibes ( like the movie) here. Whether you live in LA or plan to visit, you should stay at one of the fantastic hostels in the city or surrounding areas. They’ll give you a new appreciation for Los Angeles and help you see it from a different perspective. We found the best hostels in LA so start booking your next adventure.

2. Freehand

Location: 416 W. 8th St., Los Angeles, CA 90014

Freehand is one of your best bets if you want a hostel with several hip amenities. This hostel overlooks downtown LA, which ensures a beautiful view of the city. There’s a restaurant and bar on-site as well as a gym. It’s a nice place to relax that doesn’t quite have the atmosphere of a traditional hostel which might be a greater lure for some people. Plus every Wednesday night, from 7pm-10pm at Freehand’s Rudolph’s Bar, you can enjoy Jazz Nights featuring the Supa Lowery Bros. The talented duo hails from Philadelphia and previously worked as session musicians for Dr. Dre. This is a great experience to keep the mood up and unwind to tunes and specialty Jazz Night cocktails.
