LA’s 5 Best Spooktacular Halloween Markets for Thrilling Finds

Pour the Pumpkin Spice Lattes and grab your sweater weather best because the spooky season is officially upon us (sound the applause)! If you’ve been waiting for Halloween since November 1st of last year, you’ll die for these Halloween Markets we just found haunting in and around LA. These pop ups and shops have creepy cute clothes, fun and festive decor for sale, delicious fall eats, and other frighteningly fun activities to enjoy. Here are 5 Halloween themed markets to check out in LA.

1. The Witches Brew Night Market

Date: September 30th

Location: 125 N Broadway, Santa Ana

If there’s one thing SoCal does better than anywhere else, it’s a Night Market. The Witches Brew Night Market is the perfect way to kick off the Halloween Season. Shop over 35 vendors, enjoy frighteningly tasty food and drinks, snap some pics, and get your tarot cards read. The best part about this event, is that it’s FREE to attend.

2. Oddities Flea Market

Dates: October  7th-8th

Location: The Globe Theatre, 740 S Broadway

If you’re ready to embrace the strange and unusual (a la Lydia Deetz in Beetlejuice), The Oddities Flea Market is right up your alley. The Globe Theatre in DTLA transforms into a beautiful gothic marketplace, with over 75 vendors. This won’t be an ordinary shopping trip, though. 3. The Halloween Boutique at Roger’s Gardens

Dates: Now thru October 30th

Location: Roger’s Gardens,  2301 San Joaquin Hills Rd. Corona del Mar

Not into the scary parts of Halloween, but still want to spruce up your space for fall? The Halloween Boutique at Roger’s Gardens in Corona del Mar is for you. It’s worth the drive into Orange County. The nursery builds a hauntingly beautiful Halloween shop with a different theme each year. This year, get ready to experience The Witching Hour. Shop around for some beautiful home and garden decor, and grab some cute selfies in the boutique. Once you’re done, you can wander around the nursery’s grounds, which is also a monarch butterfly conservation.

4. Son of Monsterpalooza 

Dates: October 13th-15th
Location: The Marriott Burbank Hotel & Convention Center, 2500 N Hollywood Way, Burbank

Son of Monsterpalooza is an off shoot to the wildly popular Monsterpalooza convention that happens each June. You’ll shop till you drop from over 150 vendors. But that’s not all, there are also live special effects makeup demos, celebrity guests and presentations, and a costume contest. Although everyone is welcome at Son of Monsterpalooza, horror movie fans will really appreciate all the look behind the scenes the convention offers.

5. Salem’s Market

Dates: October  7th-8th

Location: Ontario Convention Center, 2000 E Convention Center Way, Ontario

If your idea of Halloween involves some family fun, you’ll definitely want to stop by Salem’s Market. Spooky fun vendors, live music, a costume contest, and raffles are just a short drive away in Ontario.
