If you’re looking to get a break from the busy city but don’t want to spend hours in the car to get to your special destination, head down to Long Beach for a day or weekend of fun! Just a quick drive south (still in Los Angeles County), Long Beach is such a fun neighborhood to explore this summer. One of our favorite things about LA is that each neighborhood has its own unique vibe and culture, and Long Beach certainly offers the same with its beachy, small-town feel, as well as an exciting city atmosphere. The LA Girl has talked to a Long Beach local to collect the best spots in Long Beach for your next day-trip.
