Where to Go Ice Skating in LA this Holiday Season

Looking for fun festivities to do during the holiday season? We love going out and doing winter-themed activities, especially Ice Skating! Whether you’re a pro or an amateur (like ourselves), everyone is bound to have a fun time this holiday season. We made sure to organize each rink by neighborhood, so be sure to find the one closest to you or travel to a new area to explore! Enjoy visiting our favorite places to go ice skating around LA this time of year.

LA Kings Holiday Ice at LA Live (Los Angeles) 

If you’re looking for some special holiday fun, look no further. This venue is decked out with lights and cute Christmas decorations, which makes it the perfect spot for some Instagram photo sessions. Ice at Santa Monica (Santa Monica)

The Ice at Santa Monica skating rink is finally opening (Yay)! The 8,000-square-foot rink will open until January 15, 2023. Head out to West LA to hit enjoy the beach views and ice skating all-in-one. Skate rental and all-day admission cost $20.

Pasea Hotel  (Huntington Beach)

Ice skating right by the beach in the middle of winter? This activity just screams California winters! Located in Huntington Beach, approximately 1 hour from Los Angeles, this rink holds different themed nights and events perfect for the Holiday season. From Skate & Sip to date nights, check out their holiday calendar and see which nights pique your interest. Pricing and availability vary, so make sure to check out their website for further information. Santa’s Village (Lake Arrowhead)

This is a Christmas-themed park with restaurants, entertainment, and of course, holiday-themed attractions. They also have their own Ice Skating rink called Silver Bells Arena. Head up to visit Lake Arrowhead for a winter wonderland and experience everything they have to offer. Iceland Ice Skating Rink (Van Nuys)

Pasadena Ice Skating Center (Pasadena)

This rink also holds public skating sessions for $14 general admission with a $4 skate rental all throughout the year (not just during the winter months). By the way, this venue is huge. Pickwick Ice Center (Burbank)
