The LA Girl eats, drinks, and breathes fashion. It is exciting to see that our home town, LA, is growing so much within the fashion industry and slowly being recognized as one of the elite fashion capitals. We have the inside scoop on all the hot fashion events that you should keep an eye out for. They take place between October & November and there are three major ones dominating the space this year. Good news, unlike New York, you can still attend these events with *TICKETS.
1. Los Angeles Fashion Week (LAFW)
We had the honor of attending LAFW this year. Each day of their four day fashion week featured a different theme: red carpet, contemporary, street wear, and much more. Each night they hosted three to four different designers with different aesthetics and featured accessories, there truly was never a dull moment. LAFW had live entertainment, celebrity guest appearances, like our favorite R&B singer Usher, and treats and goodie bags for the guests to enjoy. Don’t miss their next event.
2. Kornit Fashion Week (In DTLA)
Move over, because there’s a new show in town: Kornit debuted its first annual fashion week in Downtown LA this year. Their presentations included a jam packed 5 days of shows and events ranging from morning, mid day, afternoon, and evening. Kornit was all about current events and trends with shows and fashion centering around sustainability, digital transformation, and other important topics that are being highlighted in the fashion world, today. They had yummy cocktails, red carpet photo opps, activations and coffee that we loved each morning. It was amazing seeing everyone, including celebs, have a great time celebrating the designers featured in Kornit Fashion Week. It truly started with a bang, mark your calendars for next year.
3. Art Hearts Fashion Week (Multi-City, Including LA)
Art Hearts Fashion has been a huge supporter of fashion in Los Angeles for years, with notable celebrities like Britney Spears attending. They are a global brand, spanning across cities like Miami, New York and of course, LA. We look to them annually for the latest fashion tends and newest designers. They feature a huge range of different designs and items, from bathing suits, night out outfits, red carpet gowns, and event wedding attire. It is amazing to see Art Hearts Fashion pioneering the fashion district in Los Angeles. We can’t wait to see what they have in store next.
