With Afterpay! Why should NYC have all the fun when the shows come to town? This year Afterpay hosted ShopsLA at Westfield Century City on a bustling weekend in Los Angeles. Notables, fun and of course: fashion, filled the afternoon.
Who
Media, Influencers, Reality Stars & more hit The Atrium, Century City for a press preview morning of “The Shops” HQ. Afterpay also hosted Tik Tok sensation Gayle to serenade attendees on the main stage.
What
The event took place at Century City’s Atrium, in the heart of Westfield’s most-asthetic outdoor mall. Levi’s was on site, cranking out white tee’s and jean jackets for the occasion, with customized “Fashion is______” on the short sleeves & signature Levi buttons for the jeans. The Container Store served up rows of bright, mocktail slushys and green churros to match for guests to enjoy. A built in Afterpay swing and photo booth was set up for all attendees and matching sets of furniture filled the lounge area.
Why
To celebrate the runway shows taking place in New York City and all the fabulous trends being debuted for next year! LA is known as a Media & Hollywood staple, but what’s often under, rated- is the fashion forward sensibility of its inhabitants. Afterpay fully integrates with the runway shows, designers and festivities for New York Fashion Week and many Angelinos head to the big apple each year to celebrate with them. However, this year LA hosted the “Big Game” and welcomed most outside media to town, so Afterpay came to visit the City of Angles instead.
