818 Tequila, the award-winning teqila hand-crafted tequila brand founded by Kendall Jenner, returned to the desert for the fourth annual 818 Outpost presented by Cash App. Taking over Indio on April 10 during festival weekend, the ultra-coveted, invite-only gathering brought together festival-goers, creators, and friends of the brand for a sun-soaked afternoon of live music, immersive brand experiences, and signature 818 tequila cocktails. Set within a striking open-air environment inspired by Mid-Century “Googie” architecture and Palm Springs modernism, the space blended breezeblock textures and retro-futurist design into a high-energy desert playground. Back for its fourth year, 818 Outpost isn’t just a party – it’s the party. From the guest list to the brand moments, it felt like the real main stage.
The Scene
This year’s kickoff had a major sister moment – Kendall Jenner was joined by Kylie Jenner and Kourtney Kardashian Barker, with the trio spotted together taking in the atmosphere and moving throughout the space. Set against the retro-futuristic desert backdrop, they mingled with friends, sipped on 818 cocktails, and made their way through key activations—Kylie stopping by the K20 by Sprinter moment, while Kourtney checked out the Lemme space. Style-wise, it was exactly what you’d expect. Kendall kept it effortlessly minimal (white tank, vintage Levi’s, The Row boots), Kourtney leaned into her edgy aesthetic in Dolce & Gabbana, and Kylie stepped out in Ann Demeulemeester—each bringing their signature look to the desert.
THE MUSIC MOMENT
The crowd packed in for Kaytranada, whose set will definitely be one of the most talked-about of the weekend. Then came the surprise moments – Justine Skye joining onstage, followed by Lizzo pulling up and completely shifting the energy. Exactly the kind of “you had to be there” moment everyone talks about after.
THE VIBE
From first pour to golden hour, 818 cocktails were the centerpiece: Ranch Waters, Desert Spritzes, and frozen daiquiries with Fat Tuesday keeping guests cool as the dance floor stayed packed. And for those slipping away from the crowd, the Delilah Reserve Lounge by The h.wood Group offered a more intimate reset—still chic, just a little more low-key.

THE BRAND ENERGY
This is where 818 Outpost really does the most in the best way. It’s not just a party, it’s a fully curated experience. Postmates had everyone posted up at the Pit Stop with bites from Ggiata, Heavy Handed, HomeState, and Puesto. Snapchat had one of the most talked-about activations with custom content moments (very cute, very viral), while Blank Street Coffee made its West Coast debut serving matcha and espresso with an 818 twist. Beauty and wellness didn’t miss either – Rhode dropped newness, Kylie Cosmetics and Urban Decay kept glam locked, and Lemme made sure everyone survived the heat. Additional beverage moments included the LaCroix Water Diner with cocktails and mocktails, alongside non-alcoholic offerings from UPDATE, PATH, and Crazy Mountain.

818 Outpost is the blueprint for what Coachella parties look like now – smaller, more curated, and way more intentional. It’s not about being everywhere, it’s about being in the right place. And if you weren’t on the list? Don’t worry – you can find our the inside look here.
