Tis’ the season; Festival Season, of course! California is such a hot spot for some of the biggest music festivals, Coachella, Stagecoach, Escape, EDC, and more… No matter what type of music you are into, there is a festival calling your name. Once you secure your tickets and are counting down the days to the event, it can be pretty overwhelming to think about how to prepare for this crazy, but fun weekend. Thankfully, we have been to our fair share of festivals and know exactly what you need to bring to be well prepared! Here are 10 Essential To Pack for Your Next Music Festival.
Fanny Pack
This is a must! You are going to need a safe spot to put all of your other necessities including your ID, phone, sunscreen, etc. A fanny pack can be secured to the front of you and is sure to keep your belongings safe. Check your music festival’s details because many venues are now requiring you to use clear bags and fanny packs for safety reasons. 
Hand Wipes or Hand Sanitizer
This may be the most important product out of all of them. Music festivals are known to have messy bathrooms and not many washing stations. Bringing hand wipes or sanitizer will keep you clean throughout the day and especially before you eat. Your entire body might feel dirty from the combination of dirt, sunscreen, and sweat, but at least your hands will feel clean!

Portable Charger
If you plan on using your phone to take photos and are known as the person whose phone always dies, definitely bring a portable charger! This will allow you to charge your phone completely and allow you to contact your friends if you lose them in the crowd. 
Sunglasses
If you’ve been to a music festival before, you’ll know what we mean when we say sunglasses are KEY. Sunglasses will make the dirt flying everywhere and spending hours in the sun a little bit easier. Also, they are a great accessory for a cute festival fit!
Hydration Backpack or Reusable Water Bottle
Music festival weekends are always so much fun, but also can feel long and exhausting. The key is to stay hydrated especially if you are drinking cocktails or walking around a ton. Water will be your best friend during a festival weekend, and by bringing a hydration backpack or reusable water bottle, you will be able to use the fill-up stations and stay hydrated the entire event!

Sunscreen
Please, please, please do not forget this essential product when packing for your next music festival. It will be such a long day with the sun beaming down on you. Sunscreen will help protect your skin from SPF and keep it moisturized, too. Sunny days are our favorite, but I am sure we all know how miserable the next day is after getting a major sunburn. Help prevent that from happening by packing sunscreen and carrying it with you in your fanny pack.
Chapstick
We know everyone can relate to that feeling of needing chapstick so bad but sadly you forgot it… So make sure to pack it this time! Chapstick with SPF in it will help protect your lips from UV rays and keep them moisturized all day long. 
Hair Clips or Hair Scrunchies
You will thank us later for this one! The sun will be beaming down on you, people all around you feeling hot and tired, and you will be so thankful for that scrunchie on your wrist. Having your hair out of your face will make you feel pumped and ready for the long day ahead of you. Buy a fun-colored hair accessory to perfectly match your trendy festival outfit!
Hydration Powder Packets
Liquid IV Packets will be your best friend after a long day in the sun, walking around a venue, and possibly having a few too many cocktails throughout the day. (Don’t worry, it happens to the best of us) Bring a pack of hydration powder packets to ensure you are hydrated and ready for the next day of fun.
Comfortable Shoes
This may seem like the most obvious choice, but having comfortable shoes at a music festival can keep you able to walk all day long without discomfort. I know the cute boots or heels may look best with your festival outfit, but trust us on this one, comfortable shoes are a must!
