Hispanic Heritage month is not over. LATINAFest takes place this month at La Plaza de Cultura y Artes in downtown Los Angeles. This event has ignited a unity and celebration of women in the heart of Los Angeles. There will be Ted-Talk like conversations, live tapings of TheTrendTalk TV Show, Cocktail Garden & VIP Lounge, empowerment Fashion Show, and more!

Amazon Prime’s Photo Ops, Candy & Free Totes on Melrose

To celebrate the launch of “Now Screaming” (get it, instead of streaming,) Prime Video will be bringing some of its most chilling titles to life on Melrose Avenue. From October 1 through November 1. House of Horrors: A Prime Video Pop Up Shop will feature show-inspired costume displays from Amazon Originals such as The Voyeurs, Black As Night (premiering 10/1), Madres (premiering 10/8), and I Know What You Did Last Summer (premiering 10/15.) Visitors to the Amazon Pop Up location will be able to shop the costume displays seen within the space, enjoy sharable photo moments throughout the activation, including a selfie mirror and photo booth, which will create their own chilling movie still. Guests will also visit the activation’s Halloween candy kiosk and leave with a signature tote bag filled with treats. There will be special activations taking place in the space from Oct. 14 — Oct. 16 to celebrate the debut of I Know What You Did Last Summer, with nail brand OPI, as well as over Halloween weekend from Oct. 29 — Oct. 31. With lots of tricks up their sleeve, Prime Video will surprise and delight consumers with spooky Easter Eggs hidden throughout the space.

Excited about Halloween? Because we are. One of the biggest Halloween movies, The Nightmare Before Christmas, will be a live to film concert at the Banc of California Stadium. The event starts at 8 pm and will include an on-site trick or treating, as well as, a pre-show costume contents.

Halloween’s Version of Christmas Lights at Descanso Gardens

Looking for a Halloween experience with your friends, family, or partner? Guests attending this Descanso Gardens event called Carved, will walk 1-mile surrounded by carved pumpkins. You also get to experience pumpkin carving demonstrations, the famous pumpkin house, hay maze, and food plus beverages. Put on your boots and we’ll see you there!
