Los Angeles Union Station’s Season Opener Watch Party

Batter up and swing by Los Angeles Union Station’s Season Opener Watch Party for a free public watch party and fan fest for the home team’s season opener. Fans can watch the game live on a large LED screen surrounded by family-friendly activities like face painting and a personal baseball card photo station. Enjoy music, prizes and giveaways with iconic baseball themed snacks and swag. Guests can also hop on the Dodger Stadium Express to make their way to the game or sit back and enjoy the game with burgers, brats and beer at Union Station’s Homebound.

Shakira Shakira: The GRAMMY Museum Experience

To showcase Shakira’s enduring creative legacy, the GRAMMY Museum proudly presents Shakira, Shakira: The GRAMMY Museum Experience. See the first Shakira exhibit that explores the global superstar’s decades long career that broke major barriers for Latin & LatinX artists. The exhibit will include artifacts from her life, outfits and costumes from some of her most epic performances (Superbowl 2020 anyone?), songwriting notebooks that hold some of her famous hits, and much more. Jesse Liu’s First Art Exhibition: Spring Fever

Opening March 4, 12-5 pm

Location:  Yiwei Gallery, 1350 Abbot Kinney, Venice

Don’t miss Jesse Liu’s very first solo art exhibition entitled Spring Fever at the Yiwei Gallery in Venice. This Beijing-born artist of 1999 has crafted a collection with emotion and memory.  Her style includes blending together her imagined world with small fragments of her personal memories and emotions. Her inspiration for each work comes from a fascination with the concept of memory, itself a product of subjective consciousness. See the exhibit beginning March 4th.

A Real Boy: The Many Lives of Pinocchio

Venture to the Italian American Museum of Los Angeles to experience a whimsical exhibit: A Real Boy: The Many Lives of Pinocchio. It features the cultural origins, adaptations, and enduring appeal of one of the most popular characters in children’s literature. There will also be artwork on display from Walt Disney’s animated feature film. The exhibit is FREE for all ages, with donations strongly encouraged.

“Inspiring Walt Disney: The Animation of French Decorative Arts” in Pasadena

Love the Disney classics like Beauty and the Beast, or Cinderella? Love the ornate beauty behind French Art? Then you’ll really want to visit this exhibition! It explores the early inspirations behind Disney Studios’ creations, examining Walt Disney’s fascination with European art and the use of French motifs in Disney films and theme parks. There are approximately 50 works of 18th-century European decorative art and design that inspired many of Walt’s animated films. Plus, hand-drawn production artworks and works on paper from the Walt Disney Animation Research Library, Walt Disney Archives, Walt Disney Imagineering Collection, and The Walt Disney Family Museum. The Other Art Fair

The Other Art Fair has created something different, and we want you to experience it. They combine affordable and original artworks of over 100 independent artists with immersive installations, performances, DJs – and cocktails. Here, art is for everyone. GRAMMY Museums’s Sunday Brunch With…

April 2nd

The GRAMMY Museums’s Sunday Brunch With… is a new fundraising event series in support of the Museum’s GRAMMY In The Schools education programs. Launching the inaugural “Sunday Brunch”, the Museum is thrilled to team up with the incredible Jason Mraz and the renowned VERSE LA, located in Toluca Lake, for a morning of great music and food. Guests will dine on a three-course brunch while enjoying music performed by a jazz trio put together by a GRAMMY In The Schools education program alumni. Following the meal, guests will be treated to a rare, up close, and personal 45-minute performance from two-time GRAMMY® Award-winner Jason Mraz to close out the afternoon. Get your tickets here.
