All About LA Guide to LA Travel

Stay Eat & Play: The Sunset Boulevard Bucket List

Looking to STAY-CAY? Or maybe VAY-CAY in LA? Try The Sunset Strip. Yes, you may have heard that Sunset blvd is the ultimate knod to old Hollywood, combined with a fresh, trendy take on the best restaurants, hot spots and stars of our time, but what you’ll find when you go to book a trip or take a day out, is that Sunset Boulevard runs miles long, so which area are “they” talking about? Here’s the ultimate guide to stay, eat, drink or play on Sunset Boulevard:

“Stays”

The Edition: The architectural design is all the buzz for this minimalist dream.

The Montrose: Tucked away in a neighborhood off Sunset, for ultimate privacy & salt water pool.

Andaz West Hollywood: The classic. Nestled between the hills and the boulevard with a roof top pool.

The Grafton: We call this one “incognito.” It’s in the heart of it all, but with a quaint hidden feel & prices that beat the rest.

The Mondrian: The glamorous blvd. staple. It’s rumored that George Clooney was set up on his first blind date in LA here.

The Pendry: The newest addition to the prime real estate of the sunset strip. Shwanky decor & views to be enjoyed.

“Eats”

BOA: You can pretty much expect to see someone fabulous here. The signature steakhouse borders the Hills, Beverly Hills & West Hollywood.

Night + Market : It’s small, fast and “poppin.” People love the Thai food and quick paced atmosphere.

Katana: One of the most gorgeous boulevard views, serving Japanese fair & sushi, perfect for a sit down with friends.

The Everleigh: Aesthetically “adorbs.” This restaurant is a brunch signature, open for dinner with food for every pallet.

“Outs”

Skybar at The Mondrian: With views of the entire city, this outdoor cabana club will keep you on your feet (day or night.)

The Classic Cat: Looking like “no big deal” from the outside, once security lets you in, you’ll experience dining fair, cocktails and a full lounge after 10pm.

Hyde: Another Sunset Blvd Staple. Get ready for a bottle-service type of night and expect a “who’s who” crowd. 😉

Saddle Ranch: This is extremely casual, but drinks and grub are flowing. We can’t tell you why, but Tik Tokers LOVE IT.

Membership Clubs:

Yes, there are two on the strip. They are stunning, but require membership to enter. So ask a pal, or ask around 😉

Soho House: Signature West Hollywood views from 20 floors up, plus, company that include creatives & socialites.

The Britely: Stunning decor, a downstairs bowling alley with a roof top restaurant. The venue is connected to The Pendry.
