The Los Feliz 3-Par Golf Course is a beginner friendly course that has 9 holes and is perfect for families and friends who are looking for a fun, challenging, and possibly short game. Rancho Park Golf Course is an 18-hole, challenging course with a few obstacles to test your abilities. It also has hosted 18 Los Angeles Opens. This course has affordable prices, but it can get busy, so be sure to get there early to guarantee your spot. It offers a double tier driving range and three putting greens to practice on. 3. Wilson Golf Course (Difficult)

5500 Griffith Park Dr, Los Angeles, CA 90027

Located at LA’s iconic Griffith Park, the Wilson Golf Course is the largest of all LA courses, with nearly 7000 yards of beautiful greens. It’s home to 18 holes and has been host to several Los Angeles Opens too. This course has wide-open playing fields with gorgeous views of the LA hills. Now we know why this is a popular attraction. Make it a full day of playing by getting in a game, then head to these nearby LA tourist hotspots like the Griffith Observatory or the LA Zoo. Both are close to the course.

4. Harding Golf Course (Moderate)

4730 Crystal Springs Dr, Los Angeles, CA 90027

Also located at Griffith Park, Harding Golf Course is a stunning tree lined course with more narrow greens and ranks (in our opinion) as a moderate course. It’s s also a Golf Digest “Best Places to Play” award winner. Here’s why. The roaming putting greens are sometimes frequented by deer or peacocks, which tees up for a stunning photo op and an appreciation for Griffith Park’s natural elements. It also sets the scene for a game of twilight golf. Near the grounds, there’s a restaurant,  golf shop, lounge and practice facilities (Wilson Golf Course also shares the same amenities).

It is super spacious with 18 holes and holds PGA Level 1 Family tees for shorter shot attempts and a more enjoyable game for those just starting out.
