Are You Miss Independent Yet? This Book Launch Has You Covered

Freedom & wealth is the basis of Nicole Lapin’s new book, Miss Independent. The LA Girl team joined Nicole to celebrate this launch & examine how wealth is really created: Hint, saving on not doing your nails or skipping lattes… AIN’T IT.

Who

Business women, friends, television family & our head of partnerships Priscilla Presley, gathered at the home of Nicole Lapin to celebrate the launch of her new book, Miss Independent. The book we all need to educate us on investing in our futures. Freedom was the value celebrated on Sunday and guests echoed Nicole’s sentiment that voices aren’t the only thing that speak in this world, money speaks too… sometimes even more loudly. So how can we gain access to this power?

What:

The first book in a 7 series deal (slow clap) to help women become financially free and receive the education that nobody got  passing gel pen notes to each other in their high school classrooms. Think: a pep-talk from your bestie about using your money to achieve freedom and enjoy the lifestyle you really want. The book includes break downs on investing, budgeting, emergency funds and more. Money is about freedom. What would you do if you were rich enough? Guests got to get into that state of mind, sipping lattes topped with dollar signs & miss independent coa coa & supporting female vendors like cake artist sweet confetti who designed edible books for the occasion.

Where

The celebration took place in her beautiful home in Pacific Palasades. Decorated in full abundance-swing by Play play zone: the theme of Sunday’s brunch was cash GREEN. Balloons cascaded down door ways, a full mimosa bar was served and white & green florals sat a top thick stacks of Miss Independent. Guests enjoyed ocean views, bites by private chef, Dusty V and even a touching roof-top speech from her fiancé.

Why

Women need to get the information they need to succeed- SIMPLY and intentionally. Womens history month is next month, so continuing to evolve in badassery and mastery of finances for yourself and others you know, is a perfect way to celebrate! Girls are typically told to be prudent and save their money, whereas boys are taught to go after good jobs and build their wealth” – Nicole Lapin. Been talking about how “you wish you knew more about investing?” Are you continuously wondering what those men in suits or boys with big bank accounts are talking about?… If you want to walk that talk, here’s your chance to begin. Grab a copy of Miss Independent and follow along Nicole’s journey. You got this.
