Erika’s Super Bowl Weekend Round-Up

If you didn’t notice the extra traffic this weekend (let me tell you, it was crazy!), Los Angeles was filled with many exciting events and parties for the Super Bowl LVI. Whether you love watching football or just “watch” the big game for the appetizers and cocktails, who doesn’t love commemorating the day and filling your schedule with parties and exclusive events! Follow along to discover how Erika De La Cruz, The LA Girl’s Editor-in-Chief, spent her busy Super Bowl weekend in Los Angeles!

Saweetie’s Pre-Game Brunch with Jack Daniels

Meeting the beautiful Saweetie while sipping Jack Daniel’s Tennessee HoneyCould it get any better than that? This exclusive brunch was held on the rooftop at the Godfrey Hotel in Hollywood, joined with beautiful Los Angeles weather and international travel-inspired decor. With Saweetie and Jack Daniels as the two hosts, you know this event had to be an entertaining one! The morning was packed full with 360-degree magical photo ops, celebrating Saweetie’s new single featuring H.E.R., and mingling with special guests! Looking around the venue, every guest had a cocktail in hand and a mouthful of goodies such as macaroons, crepes, and more delicious bites! The signature Jack Daniel’s cocktails, mouthwatering appetizers, all the way down to the event’s ambiance, everything was spot on. Saweetie and Jack Daniels truly know how to throw a celebration for our rap lovers and whiskey drinkers! Talk about a great way to kick off the big game weekend!

Rolling Stone Live

As Saturday night came “rolling” in, Erika attended a thrilling event in Hollywood! Rolling Stone went out with a bang by bringing back Rolling Stone Live, presented by Coinbase. This event was held at Academy LA and composed of DJ sets, music performances, and lots of dancing (with the help of a few cocktails!). Leave it to the one and only Rolling Stone to host a perfect night-before-Super Bowl event to help everyone get excited and pumped for the biggest game of the year. The Super Bowl hasn’t been hosted in Los Angeles since 1993; thus, leave it to Rolling Stone to help all of LA get well-prepared for a festive weekend. This late-night party was overflowing with music and performances from headliner Kid LAROI, Lil Jon, Tinashe, and Kaskade! This event was the hot spot for many entertainers like Heidi Klum, Brody Jenner, and more. Rolling Stone knows how to raise the roof and had us moving all night long.

FLUF Haus LA

NFT this, NFT that… I am sure we can all agree that NFT talk is taking over social media! FLUF Haus knows all about this rising community, so what better way to join the conversations than a Super Bowl-Themed event that is filled with all things “Metaverse.” This exclusive event was a huge celebration of music, culture, and up-and-coming technology. As someone who isn’t entirely up to date with NFTs, this event made us suddenly feel in the know! Whether you are an NFT pro or just barely hearing about that industry, who doesn’t love a party to celebrate the big game?! FLUF Haus LA was hosted at Peterson Auto Museum and was a night to remember, filled with party music and flashing lights. With epic hosting abilities, Saturday’s event blew us away! Non-fungible tokens or NFTs, special guest appearances to a performance from a Metastar, Angelbaby, FLUF Haus knows how to have a good time.
