Best 24 Hour Food Spots In LA

One of the best parts of staying out late in LA has to be getting a late night snack. New York City may be known as the city that never sleeps, but LA should be known as the city that always has food! Just think after a long night, there’s nothing better than getting a belly full of delicious food as preparation for a good night’s sleep. Maybe you’re out with the girls or your job has you working into the wee hours, but you probably don’t want to resort to fast food all the time, which is completely understandable.

So here’s a list of the best 24 hour food spots in LA:

The Original Pantry Cafe – DTLA

Let’s start off with one of the most famous breakfast spots in all of Los Angeles! The Original Pantry Cafe has NEVER closed. Literally. They don’t close on any holiday and never have! Perfect spot to hit up if you’re out in DTLA and need a good bite to eat, plus their sourdough french toast is to die for. 

Bob’s Big Boy – Burbank

Home of the “Original Double Deck Hamburger” and the statue of Big Boy himself, this diner serves up breakfast, lunch and dinner 24/7. Bob’s Big Boy has a 50s theme still going on inside, so be sure to go in take a seat at a comfortable booth, and try one of their famous hamburgers and a thick shake!

Original Tommy’s Hamburgers – LA

This 24 hour spot has 100% beef burgers and hot dogs, extra thick slices of cheese, and in case you didn’t know, any extra portions of chili, mustard, onion or tomato is free of charge! Tommy’s Hamburgers keeps their food at a low cost which is why it’s always busy. 

Fred 62 – LA

Fred 62 has always had BOMB food, especially with a side o’ F-Bomb Sauce, which is highly spicy. They have tacos, fried chicken and waffles, and amazing salads. Bonus: They have a plentiful amount of vegan, vegetarian and gluten free options at all times!

Crave Cafe – Studio City

Need a place to work or study at any hour of the day? Crave Cafe is the answer. For starters their delectable coffee is organic and unique to them. They have paninis, flatbreads, crepes, salads and so much more. They also have vegan and vegetarian options, so they’ve got anyone’s craving covered!

25 degrees – Hollywood

Hidden on Hollywood and Orange beneath The Hollywood Roosevelt Hotel, this spot has great food! From eggs to burgers and griddle options, it satisfies those late night cravings. They even have spiked shakes if you’re there before 2am! Just think of the glamorous Hollywood version of an American burger bar and voila! You’ve got 25 degrees.

California Donuts – Koreatown

You know what stressed spelled backwards is? Desserts! And California Donuts know’s what’s going on with it’s donut desserts. Located in Koreatown, it’s been a hit even before the donut craze happened. From blueberry toast, to green tea, to samoa donuts, they’ve thought of everything including a Snickers donut bar!

Kitchen24 – West Hollywood

Talk about some of the best homemade soups and sauces! Kitchen24 has healthy fresh fruit smoothies, hearty salads, but they also have burgers on brioche buns if that’s what you’re looking for. They also have bottomless mimosas and bloody mary’s for only $15 on Saturdays! So if you happen to have time during the day for this one, you can try that out too!

Norms – LA

Norms is actually celebrating their 70 years in SoCal and they have some of the best classic diner food ever. Interestingly enough though, Norms began as a coffee shop on the corner of Sunset and Vine in Hollywood. Of course now they have locations all over Southern California, but their food is still just as delicious no matter what location you decide to dine.
