Pumpkin Patch

The pumpkin patch isn’t just for the kiddos! Drive a little out of the city and you can find some gnarly pumpkin patches that’ll make you feel like LA actually has 4 seasons. Mr. Bones Pumpkin Patch is one of the most popular pumpkin patches in Los Angeles, and it’s in Century City.

There’s a pumpkin village complete with decked out pumpkin houses, pony rides, a petting zoo and it’s frequented by celebrities.

So you may even catch a glimpse of your favorite star while you’re there. Tanaka Farms, the specially themed Hello- Kitty pumpkin patch in the OC, is another pumpkin patch not to be missed

In addition, there’s corn mazes, a petting zoo, wagon rides and even sunflower fields can be found there. You’ll get your hand on quite a few Instagram worthy shots!

Corn Maze

You can explore a corn maze at one of the pumpkin patches or venture off to an Annual Fall Harvest Festival! Underwood Family Farms celebrates each year with a corn maze, which they call a “corn stalk labyrinth,” along with pig races, an animal center and themed weekends!

Or run through the 4 acre corn maze that awaits you at Forneris Farms. Be ready for some riddles because you’ll have puzzles to solve as you make your way through!

Also, there are plenty more picture worthy corn mazes around LA just waiting to be discovered!

Changing Leaves

This may be one of the harder ones to find in Los Angeles, but not impossible! Oak Glen, where a lot of the apple picking can be done, is filled with beautiful trees that are going through the visible changes of autumn.

Huntington Library also has a gorgeous garden that’s perfect to capture a shot of your new fall boots and scarf.

Also, you could head up to Big Bear for a day trip or even the weekend, to relax and get some of those picturesque shots of the trees in their autumn beauty.

Fireplace

What better way to enjoy fall than with a hot cup of cocoa wrapped up in a cozy blanket by the fireplace? While you’re enjoying yourself up at Big Bear, might as well take the opportunity to shoot some cute fireplace photos!

And if you’re with your significant other even better, make it a selfie! If you’re trying to stay more local don’t worry, head to Huntington Beach and set up a bonfire.

The lighting is just as mood setting and beautiful, plus you’ll get to enjoy the sound of the waves crashing behind you. Nothing more LA than getting to enjoy the beach at night in the fall.
