Going out to brunch on the weekends is one of our absolute favorite hobbies, which is why we are always looking for cute new spots to try. Los Angeles is home to sone of the greatest food, and they sure don’t mess around when it comes to brunch. We’ve been to the hidden gems, the trendy hotspots, and everything in between, and now we want to share our favorites with you!  Here is a list of 10 of the best brunch spots we’ve found in LA, so you can add them to the top of your list.

1. Bacari W. 3rd

Open on Saturday & Sunday from 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM for brunch, this little hidden gem in West Hollywood is one of our top picks. Bacari W. 3rd. is within a vintage, outdoor courtyard setting and has delicious shareable dishes. We highly recommend the Ricotta Bowl if you’re looking for a unique dish to enjoy. They also offer a variety of tasty sides, plenty of coffee options, and brunch cocktails for our boozy brunch lovers.

2. Perch

Perch is a stunning rooftop restaurant in DTLA, known for their modern French cuisine. Whether you’re headed to brunch with your boo or just with friends, the rooftop vibe adds such a different excitement to your morning of fun. Open on Saturday & Sunday for brunch from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM, beware because it is quite the LA hotspot and does get busy on the weekends. The views are amazing and the food is spectacular, so what’s not to love?!

3. Lady Byrd Cafe

Lady Byrd Cafe, located in Echo Park is an adorable spot in the middle of a quiet residential neighborhood. Not only is the food delicious, but the ambiance is just as lovely, surrounded by flowers and greenery, with picturesque outdoor settings. The breakfast/brunch menu is available all day every day (Yes, everyday!) which is a go-to spot when you’re craving pancakes for dinner. Yum!

4. The Cabana Cafe

What’s a better destination to dress up and go to brunch at, than The Beverly Hills Hotel. The Cabana Cafe is a relaxed poolside dining experience, and it truly transports you to Old Hollywood. Next time you have a special day planned, add this iconic brunch to your agenda to make for the perfect start to your morning. Cabana Cafe’s brunch menu is available every day during their open hours of 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM.

5. Dialog Cafe

Dialog Cafe is a fan favorite on Sunset Blvd. and is sure to have a line on the weekends (I mean it’s LA, what’s new?). Show up early to ensure you get seated before your hangry side comes out. This casual, local cafe always serves up the highest quality food, and is in a great part of town. Enjoy their breakfast menu all day long and be sure to order a latte or matcha because they just might be the greatest addition to your morning outing.

6. Élephante

If you’re on social media, you have probably already heard of Élephante. This Santa Monica brunch spot has a modern-chic vibe, amazing (& viral) dishes, and has an ocean view. What more could you ask for! Available for brunch daily, from 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM, your best bet is to make reservations to ensure you get a  table. They also offer bar seating which is a fun experience if it just you and your bae. P.S., their famous Whipped Eggplant is to die for!

7. The Ivy

The Ivy needs no introduction. Seen in many Hollywood movies, and being a celebrity favorite, The Ivy is one of the most famous brunch places in LA. Aside from it’s long list of credits, the food is simply scrumptious, and the service is always unbeatable. The brunch hours are 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM on Saturday & Sunday, and we highly recommend trying it yourself because it is a 5 stars from The LA Girl.

8. Republique Cafe & Bakery

If you are looking to try some creative and outstanding dishes, this should be at the top of your list! Republique is known for it’s freshly baked pastries and bread, it’s incredible quality, and lovely outdoor dining experience. Republique’s bakery and breakfast menu are available daily from 8:00 AM to 2:00 PM, so pop in to escape LA for a second and feel like you’re back in France. Mhmmm…

9. Blu Jam Cafe

You can list this as your classic brunch staple. With all of your favorite brunch classics from French Toast to Eggs Benedict, Blu Jam Cafe has it all. If you are looking for a casual spot to roll up to any day of the week, this is the place to go. Located in DTLA and in West Hollywood, it is open for brunch every day from 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM, so no matter what day it is, check out Blu Jam Cafe for some tasty breakfast.

Another Sunset Blvd hot spot is The Butcher, The Baker, The Cappuccino Maker. This spot is a classic and it truly never disappoints. Though there might be a long line, it is well worth the wait. Enjoy a custom cocktail, and some seriously good sweet and savory dishes, depending on what you’re into. Hours are 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM with an all day brunch menu, so yes, waffles for dinner are always allowed!

Bonus Hidden Gem: Inn of the Seventh Ray

The inn of the Seventh Ray is a dreamy restaurant hidden in Topanga Canyon. The food is absolutely amazing and the ambiance is magical, surrounded by nature and twinkling lights, and away from the busy city. Brunch hours are 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM daily.
